Gold Coast Pistol Club

Gold Coast Pistol Club is one of the leading sporting clubs on the Gold Coast. The Shooting Club is licenced by both the Queensland Police and the New South Wales Police and both these services use the clubs facilities for training. They have a number of pistol ranges that are also used for rifles and shot guns.  The Gold Coast Pistol Club regularly hold “wild west” cowboy days which are both great fun and an amazing display of authentic costumes and firearms.  The disciplines shot at the club include IPSC and NRA amongst others.

Gold Coast Pistol club is a not for profit Gold Coast sporting club entity, and has steadily grown over the years to have a membership of many hundreds. Recently, GCPC received their Gold Coast Weapons Dealer Licence and as a result, needed to grow their website to allow members a restricted area with firearms for sale.

The club chose Website Essentials for the task. The new website is currently under construction at time of writing and has been carried out as a community service on nominal payment by Website Essentials.  Gold Coast Pistol Club will soon be able to offer an online store with various weapons, ammunition and accessories for sale to members.

The new site will be WordPress Blog based for speed of indexing by Google and other search engines, plus, ease of use for both their activities, and of course the weapons available from their store.  Regular pistol shooting events are held at the club at Ashmore, and beginners and interested persons are welcome every Saturday morning for live fire orientation and training from very experienced instructors.   Gold Coast Pistol Club and its website with a  new look will no doubt lead the way for sporting clubs websites.
